“Reflections of Key West”

This was a commissioned piece by a patron whom I have yet to meet, but owns another of my paintings.  It’s thrilling to think I have a collector!  This was painted from the client’s photo of the marina in Key West where he used to have a boat.  The picture was dear to him and I was flattered to have him seek a painting of it.  That being said, the photo wasn’t great to work from and I was concerned about composition, but in the end, I think it turned out to be a very soothing depiction of a place he holds dear.
