The Blue Bookmark

This photograph inspired me because of the books and the chinoiserie  – two subjects I always find inspiring!  The photo was very muted with a brown background so I decided to change it to a blueish background — more reminiscent of Van Gogh’s almond blossom painting.  I am pleased with how it turned out!
